Christmas at the Princess is a holiday resort experience that includes rides, skating, and much more. It’s one of the most popular family-friendly vacation spots of the season. The 65-acre property in Scottsdale is lit up with bright lights and twinkling lights, and offers several signature experiences for guests of all ages.
The Christmas at the Princess event runs from November 18 through January 2. There are three different Santa experiences, and you can choose from a variety of packages. Each package has different activities and features. For example, the Santa experience includes a narrated light and music show, a video show, and the opportunity to take a photo with Santa.
Another Santa experience is the Ultimate Santa Experience. This option includes a one-hour meet and greet with Santa, as well as a visit to the Elf Academy. You’ll also receive a digital photo, milk and specialty cookies, and a visit to the Christmas Store.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will be the host of the 13th annual Christmas at the Princess festival. This annual tradition will run from November 18 through January 2, 2023. As part of the festivities, the hotel will offer a variety of special offers, including an early bird discount of 40 percent for reservations made by October 18.
General admission is $120, and valet parking is an additional $20. Admission includes access to the Enchanted Plaza, which is home to a four-story musical tree and an animated video show. Visitors will also be able to see the Princess Express Train and the Nativity Garden. Children three years old and younger get free admission, as do guests staying in a Princess room.
You can also choose to make a donation to the Cox Charities at the event. This will enable you to enjoy a slew of sweet treats, including ice cream, candy canes, and cookies. Also, there’s a snow mountain ride, and a fire-side s’mores making session. Some of the other attractions require an additional fee. Guests can also purchase a VIP Express Pass to access the various Christmas at the Princess attractions.
In addition to its own attractions, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will be hosting 150 Make-A-Wish families. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Located on the grounds of the resort, the Make-A-Wish playhouse is two stories, and is open for free. The playhouse will include up to 10 digital photos and specialty cookies. Those who are looking for an experience that’s more adult-centric can also take advantage of the hotel’s igloos. During the holiday season, guests can enjoy a private chateau, and couples can hold hands while ice skating.
Whether you’re looking for a day trip or an overnight stay, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers the best of both worlds. In addition to a winter wonderland full of twinkling lights and family fun, you can also dine in the resort’s five on-site restaurants. Guests can also save up to $100 on their meals.
